Türksat 5A, aka TUSAT-1 or PEYKOM-1, is a projected Turkish communications satellite, which will be operated by Turksat. ==History== According to an agreement signed in September 2011, the satellite will be developed by specialists in cooperation with Türksat and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). It will be produced in Turkey by TAI at its newly established Satellite Assembly Integration and Test Facility ((トルコ語:Uydu Montaj Entegrasyon ve Test)) (UMET) in Ankara with 20% indigenously developed technology.
